Osgood Public Library Addition
Osgood Public Library Board of Trustees
Osgood, Indiana, 2005
Muller Architects, the Osgood Public Library Board, and the Reynolds Foundation developed plans to renovate and expand the town's historic library. The Osgood Public Library, one of the few gothic revival Carnegie Libraries in the country, was designed by Cincinnati architect Gustave Drach in 1912 and built with a $9000 grant from the Carnegie library program. The study proposed restoring the existing building with the reconstruction of the original castellated parapet, and terne coated steel roof. In addition to programming, research, and architectural design work, Muller Architecs developed a project website to manage communication between various team members as well as to distribute material to the public. |
