The project was intended to enhance the social dimensions of the university and to provide an inviting, flexible facility for the sponsoring organizations.

Key aspects of the design were:

• Responsive to the architectural context of the University.
• Designed to human scale to create an inviting character.
• Designed to promote social interaction and quite study.
• Program developed thru detailed interaction with client and students.
